CoLiTec: Interframe (secondary) processing.
DEMO

Dear prospective partners,

We would like to introduce you the results of CoLiTec (CLT) software implementation and the manual.

Statistics MPC
Software of Automatic Detection of Asteroids and Comets CoLiTec (CLT).
CoLiTec (CLT) was used by Leonid Elenin in his discovery of C/2010 X1 (Elenin) comet 10.12.2010 and P/2011 NO1 (Elenin) comet 07.07.2011.
CoLiTec (CLT) was used by A50 and H15 observatories in their discovery of more than 1000 asteroids (from 1.12. 2010).
Ready for collaboration..

Interframe (secondary) processing.

Fig. 2.9 Menu “Parameters”, tab “Interframe processing”»

Zoom

Interframe processing is activated automatically after the inraframe processing is finished. You can change interframe processing’s settings by choosing Settings/Parameters/Interframe processing (Fig. 2.9).

The main guidance’s characteristic for the creation of inner catalog of objects’ with zero apparent motion can be changed through Settings/Parameters/Interframe processing/IC forming parameters/radius of fixidity(pix). Using the same tab, you can also set the following:

- rejection marks’ criteria by apparent brightness for different types of objects (magnitude thresholds);

- velocity criteria for detected objects (velocity thresholds);

- strobes’ sizes for the first and the second phase of interframe processing (strobes’ sizes и complete covering);

- thresholds for asteroids’ automatic detection (first step, second step, dispersion thresholds).

After the end of interframe processing, files Exit_CLT.mpc и Exit_CLT.kam will be formed in the folder with processed frames. Other files used in the interframe processing are located in the folder DataVO made within the folder of processed series of frames. Below we will describe manual control of chosen tracks.
