Objects’ identification, astrometric and photometric reduction
You can find the main guidance’s characteristics of constellation’s identification on the frame and astrometric/photometric reduction choosing Settings/Parameters/Astrometry (Fig. 2.8). Following settings are available:
- camera rotation angle (field camera rotation [deg]);
- minimal apparent brightness of stars used for identification of magnitude (field magn.threshold (diurn.));
- size of the area downloaded from the catalog for constellations’ identification (field Stars search +/- FOV);
- settings of rough/precise identification on the matching boards.
You can also choose stellar catalog for astrometric (Additionally/catalogue(astrometry)) and photometric (Additionally/catalogue(photometry)) reduction.
The model of plate constants used at the astrometric reduction can be found on the board model.
