DEMO

Dear prospective partners,

We would like to introduce you the results of CoLiTec (CLT) software implementation and the manual.

Statistics MPC
Software of Automatic Detection of Asteroids and Comets CoLiTec (CLT).
CoLiTec (CLT) was used by Leonid Elenin in his discovery of C/2010 X1 (Elenin) comet 10.12.2010 and P/2011 NO1 (Elenin) comet 07.07.2011.
CoLiTec (CLT) was used by A50 and H15 observatories in their discovery of more than 1000 asteroids (from 1.12. 2010).
Ready for collaboration..

Andrushivka (Kiev) Astronomical Observatory (AAO)

Private observatory.
Owner, manager and main observer – Yurii Ivashchenko.

Telescope Zeiss-600: aperture 60 cm, CCD-camera FLI PL09000, size of the frame in a single binning survey 1528х1528 pixels).

In May 2010, AAO observers automatically (the first time on the territory of CIS) discovered an asteroid.

Since May 2010, using СoLiTec, AAO observers have sent more than 26 000 measurements to the MPC. They discovered and obtained temporary MPC names for 35 asteroids.

For the present moment, AAO has the 11th place in the world for its number of asteroids’ observations in 2011.

Russian remotely ISON-NM observatory ISON-NM, Maihill, New Mexico (USA).

(http://spaceobs.org/en/ а также  http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISON-NM)

The observatory is maintained by its main observer Leonid Elenin, financially supported and managed by Igor Molotov (ISON coordinator).

Astrograph Astroworks Centurion-18: aperture 45 cm, CCD-camera FLI ML09000-65, size of the frame 3056 x 3056 pixels.

Application of the present software substantially increased the number of observing asteroids and their observations. And in 2010 observatory entered the top-10 leading observatories for number of asteroids’ observations.

There are 333 asteroids’ discoveries applying СoLiTec (November 27, 2010 – April 12, 2011). For this period observers sent more than 65000 measurements of asteroids’ coordinates. Due to these results observatory obtained the 6th place in the world for its number of measurements made in 2011.

February 4, 2011 – 4572 observations of 1143 asteroids and discovery of 47 asteroids (observatory’s record) using СoLiTec.

Comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin)

Comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin) December 10, 2010 – the first comet discovered by a Russian astronomer for the last 20 years (СoLiTec application).
