DEMO

Dear prospective partners,

We would like to introduce you the results of CoLiTec (CLT) software implementation and the manual.

Statistics MPC
Software of Automatic Detection of Asteroids and Comets CoLiTec (CLT).
CoLiTec (CLT) was used by Leonid Elenin in his discovery of C/2010 X1 (Elenin) comet 10.12.2010 and P/2011 NO1 (Elenin) comet 07.07.2011.
CoLiTec (CLT) was used by A50 and H15 observatories in their discovery of more than 1000 asteroids (from 1.12. 2010).
Ready for collaboration..

Some more information about ОLDAS

The main updating of CoLiTec (CLT) software in 2011 is launch of OLDAS system that permits to treat observations close to a real-time scale. The main functions of this system are: automatic distribution of frames among series; organization of a simultaneous frames’ processing on several computers combined in a local network. If these computers have multicores’ processors, OLDAS creates multithreads treatment of data on local network computers (quantity of threads depends on cores).

Using of ОLDAS-CLT changes approach to the observation and results’ processing. Traditionally, night observation was done by one observer and treated at day time by another one. Nowadays, the observation is done automatically and processing mainly takes place after the observation. ОLDAS-CLT permits to reject this tradition. The ОLDAS-CLT results of frames’ series processing can be available to observer within 20 minutes after the last frame of this series is formed.

This time-difference obtained due to ОLDAS implementation permits to observe new interesting objects within the same night. Besides ОLDAS-CLT permits to have a several-hours-priority for the object discovery, that is quite important if we take into consideration competition between professional and amateur observatories all around the world.
