DEMO

Dear prospective partners,

We would like to introduce you the results of CoLiTec (CLT) software implementation and the manual.

Statistics MPC
Software of Automatic Detection of Asteroids and Comets CoLiTec (CLT).
CoLiTec (CLT) was used by Leonid Elenin in his discovery of C/2010 X1 (Elenin) comet 10.12.2010 and P/2011 NO1 (Elenin) comet 07.07.2011.
CoLiTec (CLT) was used by A50 and H15 observatories in their discovery of more than 1000 asteroids (from 1.12. 2010).
Ready for collaboration..

A comet indeed!

July 7, 2011 – Leonid Elenin detected an object that received 100% NEO rating and was waiting for official NEO acknowledgement http://www.minorplanetcenter.net/iau/NEO/ToConfirm.html). The discovery was made at the ISON-NM observatory.
At first NEA confirmed its existence by a circular (http://www.minorplanetcenter.net/mpec/K11/K11O09.html) with provisional marking – 2011 NO1. But it was thought to be a comet. And a new circular MPC MPEC 2011-010: COMET P/2011 NO1 (http://www.minorplanetcenter.net/mpec/K11/K11O10.html) confirmed it to be a comet! Another acknowledgement of this discovery was a telegram № 2768 received from The Central Bureau for Astronomic Telegrams (http://www.cbat.eps.harvard.edu/iau/cbet/002700/CBET002768.txt).
The present comet is the second discovery done with CoLiTec software. We are glad that our software helps astronomers to make such significant discoveries.
The deepest congratulation from all CoLiTec team on the second comet discovery (this time it’s a short-periodic one) made by Leonid Elenin! Well done!

Asteroid’s track detection and estimation of track’s parameters / / V. E. Savanevich, A. M. Kozhukhov, A. B. Bryukhovetskiy, E. N. Dikov, V. N. Tkachov // Radioelektronika i informatika. 2011. N 1 (52). P. 015-021

The decision rule (DR) of amplitude and coordinate detection for collection of marks, which probably belongs one object with nonzero proper motion on frames’ series, is developed. DR has extended for nonzero undetection probability of asteroid’s mark on frames’ series. Decision making about asteroid detection has made only for tracks, which estimation of velocity modulus outnumber the given value of minimal asteroid’s velocity. The method has used by authors in developed system of automatic online new asteroids detection and known asteroids tracking CoLiTec. The results of method application is presented.
